Dr. Gopal is a clinical cardiologist with The Dallas Heart Group at Medical City Dallas, The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, and at Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano, Texas. In addition, she is Medical Director of Cardiac CT and Women’s Cardiovascular Diseases at the Heart Hospital Baylor in Plano. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. Her special interests include early diagnosis of heart disease with specialized imaging techniques, the prevention of cardiovascular disease, heart disease in women, heart disease during pregnancy, and state-of-the-art
cardiovascular imaging, as well as transesophageal echocardiography.

She also has a special interest in the treatment of varicose veins with Endovenous laser techniques.

Dr. Gopal is fellowship trained in cardiovascular CT Angiography and Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging. In addition, she is the chairperson on the Medical Committee of the American Heart Association, is a strong supporter of the “Go Red For Women” campaign and a speaker for the American Heart Association. She is a founding member of the Society for Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and well-published in her field.
